Armstrong Fire Pumps Products >> Horizontal Split Case Diesel Fire Pump

The Series 4600F, drawing on over 100 years of pump design expertise and leadership, is the state of the art in Horizontal Split Case pumps. It meets or exceeds the requirements of NFPA and testing laboratories involved in fire protection such as UL, ULC, & FM.

The family of pumps capitalize on the “Tilted Parting” concept to minimize turbulence at the eye of the impeller by its straight laminar approach, thus maximizing efficiency. The family was designed with commonality of parts, low installation cost, and ease of maintenance objectives.

The pumps compact sizes are ideally suited for space saving packages and retrofit applications.

Armstrong Fire Pumps Products >> Vertical Turbine

NFPA 20 requires that centrifugal pumps be installed under a flooded suction condition. Armstrong vertical turbine pumps should be applied for any underground water source where the supply water level is below the pump suction. Vertical turbine impellers remain submerged in the water supply at all times. Start-up is instantaneous and requires no supervision.

UL Listed and FM Approved Armstrong vertical fire pumps are available in capacities which range from 250 through 5,000 USgpm at 60 cycle, 1770 rpm speeds. Pressure ratings are available to 500 psi.

Armstrong Fire Pumps Products >> Fire Pump Monitoring System

Fire pumps are installed in buildings to ensure adequate water is available for automatic sprinkler and standpipe systems. Because fire pumps do not operate under normal conditions but must be immediately available in the event of an emergency, units are required to be exercised regularly and properly maintained. Armstrong's Fire Pump Monitoring Service helps to ensure that the fire pump system is operating properly and that water is available for fire service.
